辅导及心理服务 (CPS) provides mental health and 幸福 服务s to students and 咨询 to faculty, 工作人员, 以及学生的家庭成员. Our 服务s are designed to help students understand themselves and their difficulties, and ultimately make healthy choices for their lives. We offer developmental, preventive, and remedial 服务s. Our mission is to offer high quality mental health, 咨询, and outreach 服务s to the 俄亥俄州 社区, as well as 培训 and supervision opportunities for emerging mental health clinicians. Our goal is to promote and advocate for personal growth, 幸福, and resilience in our clients and 社区 members through ethical, 包容, 文化敏感, and progressive therapeutic treatment options. We strive to create a safe and respectful environment where all students can thrive, and we work to continually respect unique individual differences and create an affirming and 包容 environment for the entire campus 社区. We collaborate with the university 社区 to promote 幸福 and empowerment.

Through outreach and 咨询 programming, 辅导及心理服务 (CPS) aims to foster an interconnected and 包容 campus 社区 that is well-informed and empowered to support the mental 幸福 of every Bobcat. 为达致我们的使命，CPS:

• Collaborates closely with the Office of Health Promotion and Well-being and Recreation to help create a safe and healthy campus environment and to support the Division of Student Affairs 幸福 framework.   

• Develops strong liaison partnerships with offices, organizations, and departments across campus.   

• Responds and reacts to the psychological, 情感, and safety needs that emerge across campus (e.g., 影响newbb电子平台社区的危机, identifiable patterns or trends of behaviors that negatively impact the psychological 幸福 of students).   

• Promotes the wide range of 服务s offered at CPS and connects students to those 服务s.

  • Provide information to the 俄亥俄州 社区 about Counseling & 心理服务. 

  • Share 幸福 related materials from other 俄亥俄州 offices.
