We also have a history of outstanding performance on the NCLEX licensure exam, with our students earning the highest NCLEX score in the state among public universities for 2021 (for first-time test takers on 雅典 campus).
In addition to academic excellence, we also offer opportunities to gain leadership skills and expanded knowledge through BSN student organizations. From the BSN Organization dedicated to applying the nursing practice standards of care to our surrounding and distant communities, 急救护理俱乐部, 儿科俱乐部, and the Multicultural 护理 Student Association, you will have the opportunity to gain professional awareness and increase your leadership skills alongside other future nurses.
传统BSN计划
Students seeking admission to the newbb电子平台 护理学院 traditional (on-campus) Bachelor of Science in 护理 (BSN) major, first apply to newbb电子平台 as Pre-BSN major (ND1220) and complete prerequisite courses. Acceptance into the Pre-BSN program is selective. During spring semester students meeting all requirements apply for consideration for selection to the BSN program (BS1221). The selected group of students will have the opportunity to complete the final three years of the BSN program, 研究生, and sit for the NCLEX licensing exam.
The traditional Bachelor of Science in 护理 program (BSN) provides students with on-campus classroom lectures, 模拟, and lab activities as well as clinical experiences. The BSN program (BS1221) is offered on the 雅典, Chillicothe, 东部, 兰开斯特, 南部, and 赞斯维尔 campuses with clinical experiences occurring in hospitals and clinics in the region. Please note that students selected for the BSN program will need to provide their own transportation to clinical sites, and some locations may be approximately an hour-long drive from campus. 请浏览 传统BSN 页面 for further details on the BSN program requirements.
Laptop computers are required in the traditional Bachelor of Science in 护理 program and are used in the classroom, 在护理技能实验室, and during 模拟 scenarios. BSN students also use laptops for secure testing via a secure testing platform. The minimum system operating requirements for both MAC and Windows laptops can be found at "Examplify Minimum System Requirements". iPads and other tablets are not supported by the 护理学院 at this time.
